Fully Engaged Premarital Inventory
Couples marrying in the Diocese of Rochester take the Fully Engaged inventory during their marriage preparation time, usually six months to a year before the wedding.
There are currently two options for completing the inventory:
In person with a trained and certified facilitator from the parish
On-line, anywhere in the world, after registering with a parish facilitator.
A parish- based facilitator who was trained and certified through the Diocese of Rochester follows up with the couple after the inventory is completed. When the couple registers online, they will need to know:
The name of the parish facilitator or coordinator and their email
The parish name
The parish location (city/town)
User id and password
This information validates the registration and authorizes the Diocesan administrator to setup the security for taking the online inventory. When the inventory is completed, a report measuring the couple’s areas of agreement on several topics important to marriage is generated in graph form, and sent to the parish facilitator.
Check with the parish at which you are marrying to establish the best option for you and your fiancé. Click here for a list of parishes.
Fully Engaged is self-diagnostic and designed to help couples learn more about themselves and their unique relationship. It provides individualized couple feedback on where each partner stands in regard to topic areas important to marriage. Fully Engaged was developed to reflect the values and ideals of marriage as sacred.
