St. Jerome’s Church in East Rochester: The Mothers of Lu is a newly formed prayer group of mothers praying for Vocations to the priesthood and religious life from their own families in the Diocese of Rochester. Inspired by the 19th century mothers from a small Italian village of Lu whose prayers bore 323 vocations from their sons and daughters, we meet on the first Tuesday of every month in Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament at 7pm at St. Jerome’s church in East Rochester and pray weekly before the Blessed Sacrament in a particular way for vocations to the priesthood and religious life to come from our own families.
