National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS)

NCCS is a committee of Catholic lay people and clergy that, in conjunction with Scouting America and other Catholic organizations, work to ensure the Catholic faith is an integral part of the scouting experience. The committee helps to coordinate religious activities/emblems earned by scouts, organizes adult scout leader recognition, and provides support to local scouting units/diocesan scouting committees.

National Catholic Committee for Girl Scouts and Camp Fire (NCCGSCF)

NCCGSCF is a constitutive member of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM). The committee consists of NFCYM, Girl Scouts, and Camp Fire representatives from the 14 diocesan regions in the United States. NCCGSCF, under the auspices of NFCYM, administers the religious recognition programs and patches to allow young people to explore and become more involved in their Catholic faith. NCCGSCF also coordinates adult scout leader recognition and provides support to local scouting units/diocesan scouting committees.

AHG National Catholic Committee

The American Heritage Girls (AHG) Program enables a girl to grow in her faith, cultivate a heart for service, and have more fun than she can imagine! AHG focuses on providing forward-focusing Christian programming that is rich in opportunities for girls of all ages and abilities. As girls grow and change, so should the activities that they do. As girls grow and change, so should the activities that they do. With each AHG Program Level, girls are introduced to new skills, experiences (including outdoor adventures) and leadership positions, as well as given opportunities to grow closer to the Lord. The mission of the AHG National Catholic Committee is to support American Heritage Girls while promoting and providing for the growth and spiritual development of its Catholic members, in fidelity to the magisterium of the Catholic Church, and to act as the liaison between AHG and the Catholic Church.

Troops of Saint George

The Troops of Saint George apostolate aims to use the outdoors as their canvas and the sacraments as their path to light the way for the formation of Holy Catholic men and boys. Whether called to the vocation of the priesthood, the religious life, or that of Holy fatherhood, their fathers and sons will take a prayerful pilgrimage together to fulfill Christ’s desire for them to grow in virtue and in their Holy Catholic faith as they journey toward heaven.

Catholic Scouting Ministry Network

An opportunity, sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), for youth ministers and volunteers who serve youth in national youth serving organizations, including Girl Scouts, Scouting America, American Heritage Girls, Catholic Daughters of America, Camp Fire, etc. to connect.
