Professional Organizations

• National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM)
  The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) is recognized as the largest youth ministry organization in the United States and is the foundation for synodal dialogue about the needs and concerns of those who minister to youth. NFCYM networks with Catholic youth ministry leaders from across the country and gives them a platform for collaboration and mutual support.
• NFCYM Region 2 Community
  The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) Region 2 Community is a platform provided by NFCYM for those involved in youth ministry within New York State to collaborate with one another and engage in the work of NFCYM.
• Project YM
  Project YM is an organization built for youth ministers by youth ministers. The Project YM team has decades of in the trenches experience in a variety of ministry contexts, and has come together to be part of ProjectYM because they love Jesus, teenagers, and youth ministers.
• Instituto Fe y Vida
  Instituto Fe y Vida is a Ministry of the Christian Brothers of the Midwest, in the United States. It was founded in 1994 to offer leadership formation programs to help dioceses and parishes minister to young Hispanic people and keep their Catholic tradition alive. Instituto Fe y Vida equips pastoral ministers, young adult leaders, and parents for the New Evangelization of young Latino people across the United States. This is done by focusing on personal development and faith formation, and by preparing young Catholics for leadership in Church and society.
• LaRED
  LaRED, The National Catholic Network de Pastoral Juvenil Hispana, promotes, accompanies, and supports missionary discipleship and collaborative ministry among professionals and leaders of Pastoral Juvenil Hispana. It is an inclusive association of Roman Catholic Church organizations and pastoral ministers committed to the evangelization, holistic development, and ongoing support and formation of Hispanic youth and young adults in the United States. La RED promotes the articulation of its members at the national and regional levels.

  This is an excellent, though non-Catholic site, that parish leaders and youth teams can use as a resource to understand youth culture today and better meet the needs of the pastoral care of young people.
• YDisciple
  YDisciple, a part of NET Ministries, is a digital toolbox of training resources for adults and teaching resources for teens specifically designed with small groups in mind. These resources (many in English and Spanish) include compelling video studies for young people, along with leader guides to help adults facilitate meaningful discussion, participant guides to help teens grasp key concepts, and parent resources to encourage parents to stay engaged.
