The Office of Evangelization & Catechesis for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester supports parishes and Catholic communities in deepening faith and forming Missionary Disciples through evangelization, catechesis, and faith formation for all ages. It offers resources, training, and formation opportunities for catechists, parish leaders, and families, helps implement effective evangelization efforts, and fosters lifelong learning in the Catholic faith across the diocese.

Leslie joined the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis in June 2017. Since June 2021, she has served as the Director. She previously served as the Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the office. Prior to joining the office, she spent 19 years as the Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Catherine of Siena in Mendon. Leslie has three grown children, two daughters-in-law and three beloved grandchildren. She lives with her husband in Penfield and worships at St. Joseph’s in Penfield.

Mark joined the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis in June 2018. Prior to joining the office, he worked at St. Bernard’s School of Theology & Ministry. Mark also brings experience working with youth and young adults from time spent in parish youth ministry and higher education. He enjoys spending time with his family, four godchildren, and his friends. Mark lives in Rochester and is an active member of the Parish of the Holy Family in Gates.

Don joined the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis in January 2017. He previously spent 15 years working as a catechetical leader and youth minister at several parishes. During that time, Don developed a true passion for Sacramental Preparation and Catechesis. He is a proud 2002 graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a degree in theology. Don is married to his loving wife, Kristen, and lives in Rochester.
