Join us for our summer session for catechetical leaders will take a deep dive into our newest guiding document: Handbook on the Catechetical Accompaniment Process from the USCCB and the Institute on the Catechism. This document asks us to redefine the way we look at catechesis. It’s an important conversation we all need to be part of so please plan to be present! The Office of Evangelization & Catechesis in the Diocese of Rochester wants to extend an invitation to all catechists to join us for our first quarterly gathering where we explore different catechetical methods and topics. The topic for this gathering is “Planning for Encounter: Lessons that Lead to Christ”. The gathering will focus on catechetical lesson planning. This is a FREE course on ZOOM that will be offered TWICE during the day. Participants can join us at either session! Pre-Registration is REQUIRED! You can register for the afternoon session here or the evening session here. These sessions will be recorded for those who cannot join that day but would like to view.
