The Office of Evangelization & Catechesis is offering Youth LEAD—a weekend leadership retreat designed to help high school youth discover and develop their gifts as Catholic leaders. Youth LEAD gives young people practical leadership skills while helping them develop a deeper understanding of what it means to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Throughout the weekend of workshops, discussions, prayer, and reflection, participants are encouraged to recognize that leadership in the Church is about responding to Christ’s call to serve, evangelize, and become the Body of Christ in the world. The retreat provides a supportive environment for retreatants to forge meaningful connections with other Catholic young people who share their passion for service and faith.
